Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, who has been in controversy due to her statements, has sought permission from the Lok Sabha Secretariat for the shooting of her film ‘Emergency’ inside the Parliament complex. Sources told on Sunday that Kangana Ranaut’s application is still under consideration, but the chances of her getting permission are very less.
Quoting sources, news agency PTI tweeted, “Actor Kangana Ranaut seeks permission from Lok Sabha Secretariat for shooting her upcoming film inside Parliament premises, likely to be disallowed.”
After she was denied permission, the Panga actress started getting trolled on social media. A user tweeted, “lok sabha gave befitting response : We can only tolerate one actor here and he’s more than enough.” Another user tweeted, “How could Lok Sabha Secretariat disrespect 2014 freedom fighter😭”
“She may even ask for PM house for her shooting”, a user tweeted.
Kangana Ranaut has made statements many times in support of BJP. Even there were rumours of her joining the BJP. Not only joining BJP but it was being said that she could also contest assembly elections in Himachal Pradesh but it did not happen.
According to the information, Kangana Ranaut wrote a letter to the Lok Sabha Secretariat to sought permission of the Parliament premises for shooting a film based on the Emergency. However, the chances of getting permission for this are negligible. Only Doordarshan and Sansad TV are allowed to shoot in Parliament.
However, Kangana has cleared the air on this. The actress on Tuesday reshared a post in which it was written, ‘For the first time a film has been allowed to be shot in Parliament, a small segment of the film ‘Emergency’ will be shot in Parliament.’ Reacting to this, Kangana Ranaut wrote, ‘That’s not true. It’s a fake news.’ Kangana Ranaut has made it clear that all the reports like her film being shot in Parliament are nothing but rumors.
