Kangana Ranaut returns on Twitter: The Twitter ban on Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has been lifted and her Twitter account has been restored. The actress herself has given this information in a tweet.
After a long time, the controversial actor on Tuesday surprised everyone with a tweet. “Hello everyone, it’s nice to be back here”, Kangana tweeted. Ranaut’s account may have been restored but the actress has not yet received the blue tick back.
Why was Kangana Ranaut’s Twitter account suspended?
Kangana Ranaut was accused of posting a series of tweets that violated the micro-blogging site’s guidelines and her Twitter account was permanently suspended in 2021. Ranaut had made a statement on the Bengal elections in May 2021, which was described as hateful and promoting violence. However, it has now been restored.
Kangana had appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take the avatar of 2000 to stop the violence that took place after the results of the Bengal elections. This tweet of the actress was linked to the 2002 Gujarat riots and termed as spreading violence.

Kangana Ranaut was known for posting no holds barred statements on Twitter, which eventually led to her account being suspended.
According to information, Kangana Ranaut’s Twitter account was earlier handled by her sister Rangoli Chandel, but she too was suspended, as many hateful tweets were made from this account as well. After this, a new account named @KanganaTeam was created, which was being handled by Kangana.
As soon as the news of Kangana’s return on Twitter came, netizens started taking dig at the actress. A user tweeted the meme, ‘Content hi content hoga.’ Another wrote, ‘Ma’am , dobara kab suspend hona hai?’ One Tweeted, ‘Make Twitter Controversial Again’.
Kangana Ranaut shared the making video of the film Emergency
Minutes after the account was restored, Kangana shared the making video of her upcoming film ‘Emergency’. She shared that the shooting of the film is now complete. The actress-filmmaker captioned the BTS video, “And it’s a rap!!! Emergency shooting completed successfully… See you in cinemas on 20th October 2023… 20-10-2023.”
Kangana Ranaut is playing the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in Emergency. Directed by Kangana herself, the film also stars Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Mahima Chowdhary, Milind Soman and others. Based on the events of Emergency imposed in India in 1975, the film will release on October 20.
