Kangana Ranaut has shared that tweet made by the Twitter handle of a magazine, which states that some trade experts say that the box office collection of Alia Bhatt’s film is being told to double the actual box office collection.
Sharing this tweet, Kangana Ranaut wrote on her Insta story – “Achcha doodh mein pani to suna tha lekin pani me doodh…hmm… kya majbooriyaan rahi hongi becharon ki… (We have heard about the trend of diluting milk with water but here water seems to have been diluted with milk…. the helpless people must have had some obligations)”.
‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ was released on 25 February. The film earned 3.50 crores at the box office on the 11th day of its release. With this the total earning of the film has reached close to 100 crores at the domestic box office. Alia Bhatt played the role of Gangubai, the mafia queen of Kamathipura, in this Sanjay Leela Bhansali film. Stars like Ajay Devgan and Vijay Raj were also seen in the film.
