“It’s jealousy and stupidity”: Ranbir Kapoor takes an indirect dig at Kangana Ranaut and Vivek Agnihotri

Bollywood superstar Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s ‘Brahmastra’ is doing tremendously at the box office these days. The film has so far done a business of more than 200 crores at the ticket window. The entire team of ‘Brahmastra’ seems very happy with the success of this film. Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor has spoken openly about himself and Alia Bhatt’s personal life.

During an interview with NDTV, Ranbir took an indirect dig at Kangana Ranaut and Vivek Agnihotri saying that if someone is criticizing his wife Alia, they get jealous of her. The actor said that Alia is undoubtedly one of the most important actors in the history of Indian cinema. According to the actor, the work she has done on the screen or the way she has carried herself, he has not seen such courage in anyone else.

Elaborating on this, Ranbir Kapoor said that the way Alia handled herself during the entire marketing of ‘Brahmastra’ despite her pregnancy is an inspiration to everyone. If someone criticizes her it’s just jealousy and mischief makers and stupidity. We should not take it seriously. It is worth noting that apart from Ranbir and Alia, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy have also worked in this film. At the same time, Shahrukh Khan also did a cameo role in this film. Fans are liking the small role of Shahrukh very much. Brahmastra has left behind many big films till now.

Made in a budget of 410 crores, this film has so far done business of Rs 199.32 crores. The film has so far earned Rs 181.35 crore in Hindi, Rs 13.85 crore in Telugu and Rs 3.96 crore in Tamil. Apart from this, the film’s performance in Kannada and Malayalam has been very disappointing and so far it has earned Rs 3 lakh in Kannada and Rs 1 lakh in Malayalam.
