‘ISRO used Hindu calendar for it’s Mars Mission’, R Madhavan says at Rocketry promotion; gets trolled

Actor R Madhavan is known for his strong performance in Bollywood. Soon R Madhavan is going to return to the big screen through his upcoming film Rocketry – The Nambi Effect. Meanwhile, during the promotion of the film Rocketry, R Madhavan said something about ISRO’s Mars mission, for which the actor is being trolled badly on social media.

R Madhavan made such a claim about Mars mission

Recently, R Madhavan attended an event for the promotion of his upcoming film Rocketry. A video of R Madhavan, who plays the famous Indian scientist Nambi Narayan in this film, is becoming fiercely viral on social media. In this video, R Madhavan is seen saying that the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) had helped a lot in launching rockets in space during the Mars Orbiter Mission through the Hindu calendar. After this statement of R Madhavan, people are giving him science lessons on social media.

R Madhavan trolled

No one is liking this statement of R Madhavan regarding the main mission of ISRO. People on social media are criticizing R Madhavan saying, “Science is not everyone’s cup of tea. It’s ok not to know Science. But it’s better to keep your bloody mouth shut when you’ve no idea as to how things actually work; instead of quoting some WhatsApp stuff and making a mockery of yourself.”

Another user has written, “Disappointed that @isro has not published this vital information on their website. Time to also consider a Mars Panchangam!”

One user tweeted, “The only difference between Madhavan & my mama who graduated with a doctorate from whatsapp university is that he keeps his bs within the family.”


R Madhavan has played the lead role in the film ‘Rocketry’. Shah Rukh Khan will be seen doing a cameo in the Hindi version of the film. The film will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and English languages. ‘Rocketry’ will be released in cinemas on July 1, 2022.
