Meanwhile, Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty is getting trolled for her old tweet on the economic condition of the country. Shilpa Shetty did this tweet in the month of August 2013. In which she took a jibe at rupee plunging against dollar during Dr. Manmohan Singh government. The actress had written in her tweet, “I read a funny thing, Dollar is on escalator, Rupee on ventilator, Nation is in coma in ICU, onion showroom, God help India.”
By sharing this tweet on social media, people are trolling her asking why Shilpa Shetty is not commenting on the falling rupee now. At that time (2013), she mocked then government over weakening of Indian currency. But now when rupee is all time low and close to touch Rs 80 mark, she is ‘silent’.
Some people are even challenging Shilpa Shetty whether she can share this tweet today.
Some people say that Shilpa Shetty is silent now because now she has the government of her choice and BJP had also made her the brand ambassador of ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’, how would she tweet.

However, Shilpa Shetty has not reacted to the troll on this old tweet. Nor, Shilpa has made any comment on the current situation of the country.
