Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy, who has always been in the media headlines for his statements, has once again targeted the Modi government regarding the issue of China. Swamy has raised the question and asked whether the government enjoys being humiliated by China or has it got used to it.
Subramanian Swamy, reacting to a news, tweeted and said, “Is Modi government habituated to being insulted by China and hence enjoying it? After China grabbed our territory which area was mutually agreed in 1993 as India’s, what is there to talk? Once may be Ok, but get insulted in 14 meetings to date by the Chinese? Stockholm Syndrome?”
Earlier, Swamy had attacked the government, linking the meeting on Afghanistan with the issue of China. Swamy then said that the main issue is the Chinese occupation of Indian territory. This problem remains unresolved even after 18 face-to-face meetings. So the Modi government should now focus on only one point and that is to get China out of our region.
Let us tell you that BJP’s Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy has been constantly critical of the Modi government regarding economic policies. Despite his party’s government, he has been continuously speaking and writing on it. He has repeatedly said from different forums that the economic policies that the current government is taking in the country can lead to the situation getting worse instead of better.
