IPL 2022, RCB vs SRH: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) suffered an embarrassing defeat in the Indian Premier League (IPL) match played on 23 April. RCB were all out for just 68 against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and made their second lowest score in history. In reply, Sunrisers Hyderabad achieved this target by losing just one wicket.
The wicket of Abhishek Sharma fell for Sunrisers Hyderabad, he played an innings of 47 runs in 28 balls. Apart from him, captain Kane Williamson scored 16 runs and remained unbeaten with Rahul Tripathi (7 runs) to give victory to his team. This is SRH’s fifth consecutive win in this season and with this it has reached number-2 in the points table.
RCB’s innings struggled with only a flurry of wickets from start to finish. In the second over of the innings itself, the team lost three wickets, Virat Kohli was once again out for zero. Not only Virat but all the veterans of the team (Faf, Maxwell, Dinesh Karthik) could not do anything special in this match. RCB had lost half their team for just 47 and were later all out for 68 runs.
