IPL 2022, RCB vs LSG Eliminator: The Eliminator of the IPL 2022 was played between Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore on 25 May, in which RCB won by 14 runs. With this, Bangalore has entered Qualifier 2, where they will face Rajasthan Royals on 27 May. The winning team here will play the final match against Gujarat Titans on 29 May. The last two matches are to be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

The toss was delayed due to rain at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Electing to bat after losing the toss, RCB scored 207 runs for the loss of 4 wickets. RCB got a shock in the form of captain Faf du Plessis on the fifth ball. Du Plessis went on the very first ball, after which Virat Kohli shared a 66-run partnership for the second wicket with Rajat Patidar. Kohli was dismissed after scoring 25, after which Glenn Maxwell went on after scoring 9 runs.

From here Rajat Patidar took the lead and played an unbeaten innings of 112 runs in 54 balls with the help of 7 sixes and 12 fours. This was the first century of his IPL career, while Dinesh Karthik scored 37 runs. Mohsin Khan, Krunal Pandya, Avesh Khan and Ravi Bishnoi hunted 1-1 on behalf of the opposition team.

Chasing the target, Lucknow could not go ahead with 193/6. Lucknow had lost the wickets of Quinton de Kock (6) and Manan Vohra (19) till the score of 41. From here, captain KL Rahul took the lead along with Deepak Hooda. There was a partnership of 96 runs for the third wicket between the two, which made the match exciting.

For Lucknow, captain KL Rahul scored 79 runs in 58 balls with the help of 5 sixes and 3 fours, while Deepak Hooda scored 45 runs in 26 balls, but could not win the team. Josh Hazlewood made the most 3 victims on behalf of the opposition team.
