India’s Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu wins Miss Universe 2021 title, brings the crown home after 21 Years

Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu of India has won the title of Miss Universe 2021. It is once again a proud day for the people of India. Harnaaz Sandhu, a 21-year-old from Punjab, has been selected as the 70th Miss Universe. Earlier, 21 years ago, Lara Dutta had won the title of Miss Universe. Harnaaz has won this title by defeating the contestants of Paraguay and South Africa. Sandhu was crowned in this event by Andrea Meza, former Miss Universe 2020 of Mexico.

This time the Miss Universe competition was held in Israel. Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu, who won the Miss Universe pageant, has participated in many beauty pageants in the past as well. She has also been Miss Chandigarh in 2017. A year later, Harnaaz also won the crown of Miss Max Emerging Star India 2018. After winning these two coveted titles, Harnaaz participated in India 2019, in which she reached the top 12.

The judge panel in the Miss Diva pageant was impressed by her views on global warming and nature conservation. Harnaaz hails from Chandigarh, India. She was born in a Sikh family. Harnaaz is a fitness and yoga lover. In 2017, Harnaaz won the title of Miss Chandigarh.

A year later, in 2018, Harnaaz was awarded the crown of Miss Max Emerging Star India 2018. After winning two coveted titles, Harnaaz participated in Miss India 2019, where she managed to make it to the top 12.

Harnaaz has also confirmed her place in films before participating in the Miss Universe 2021 competition. She has two Punjabi films ‘Bai Ji Kuttange’ and ‘Yaara Diyan Poo Baran’, which will release next year.
