Mandeep Kaur’s sister Kuldeep Kaur has alleged that husband Ranjodhbir Singh and family wanted a son from her. The in-laws were also demanding 50 lakh rupees in dowry and Mandeep Kaur was being assaulted for this. When this could not happen, they forced my sister to commit suicide. Mandeep Kaur’s in-laws wanted a son but she had two daughters.
According to news agency ANI, Kuldeep Kaur has alleged that Mandeep was being harassed right after her marriage. According to Kuldeep, Mandeep was married in February 2015. It was only after the marriage that the in-laws and Mandeep moved to New York, USA and he started harassing her.
In Bijnor, the parents have expressed concern about the safety of Mandeep’s two daughters aged 6 and 4. Younger sister Kuldeep Kaur said that the custody of both the girls should be given. We will raise her like a mother. I want her husband to get the harshest punishment. He should get the death penalty. I appeal to the Government of India to help us get justice.
