‘India today is looking like Kashmir’: Subramanian Swamy’s scathing attack on HM Amit Shah

BJP leader and former MP Subramanian Swamy has made a scathing attack on the Modi government at the Center over the protests across the country regarding the statement of BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma.

The former Rajya Sabha MP has tweeted and said that today the whole of India looks like Kashmir. Whereas we want to make Kashmir like India.

Questioning Home Minister Amit Shah, Subramanian Swamy said, “Rest of India today is looking like Kashmir. We had instead wanted Kashmir to look like the rest of India. Has Amit Shah as Home Minister any clue about a solution ? If the situation does not come under control in the next 48 hours, should Shah remain as HM? Modi’s call.”

In many parts of the country, protests by a particular community against suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma are increasing. An effigy of Nupur Sharma was found hanging near a dargah on Ford Road in Belagavi, Karnataka.

At present, no information has been found about those who hang it. The Karnataka Police said that the effigy was hung at night and after it came to their notice in the morning, the police removed it.

Let us tell you that on Friday, June 10, protests were held in many parts of the country in protest against the controversial statement of Nupur Sharma. In many places, the demonstration took a violent stand. The police had to use force to control the protesters.
