India Today and anchor Shiv Aroor called out for tweeting Rahul Gandhi’s video with wrong context

India Today Executive Editor Shiv Aroor is in the news for tweeting a video of former Congress President Rahul Gandhi in the wrong context. Congress has questioned Shiv Aroor as well as India Today channel’s policy for tweeting Rahul Gandhi’s video with wrong context.

Congress spokesperson Pawan Kheda has slammed Shiv Aroor with strong words. Pawan Khera has tagged India Today Group founder and chairperson Arun Puri in a scathing tweet-

Let us inform that India Today suspended senior anchor Rajdeep Sardesai for seven days after a tweet related to an accident in the farmers’ movement. Apart from Pawan Khera, Congress Rajya Sabha MP Shashi Tharoor has also spoken about favoritism while questioning Shiva.

Journalist Siddharth Sharma, who was present in the Congress’s women’s conference on Shiv Aroor’s video, also objected-

At the same time, journalist Shyam Meera Singh, who was fired from India Today for tweeting against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has also put India Today Group in the dock.

It is worth mentioning that Rahul Gandhi had recently attended the Mahila Congress convention. Here he said that, you just saw the photo of Gandhiji. You will see 3-4 women with Gandhiji. Correct. Have you seen any woman’s photo with Mohan Bhagwat? Have you ever seen? can not happen. Shiv Aroor tweeted only this part of the video with an emoji. In the same video tweeted by Shiv Aroor, Rahul Gandhi says – “Because his organization suppresses women power. crushes them. Our organization gives a platform to women power.

With this sentence the whole purpose of Rahul Gandhi becomes clear but Shiv Aroor did not tell this part. May be he tweeted with an agenda.
