IND vs WI 1st T20I: Team India would like to start the series with a win, know India’s probable playing-11

IND vs WI 1st T20I: In the presence of their strong players, the Indian team will go into the field with the intention of making a clean sweep in the second consecutive series with a strong performance in the five-match T20 International series starting on Friday.

With less than three months left in the T20 World Cup, around 16 matches (five against the West Indies, five against the West Indies if India plays the final in the Asia Cup) to captain Rohit Sharma and coach Rahul Dravid to cement their ‘core’ side. Five matches, three matches against Australia, three matches against South Africa).

The mere thought of five specialist batsmen like Rohit, Rishabh Pant, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya and Dinesh Karthik making their way into the top six can put the rival team under pressure. That too at a time when a player of Virat Kohli’s level is failing miserably in the shorter formats and there are doubts about his place in the playing XI.

India was in great shape against England
The series against England before the West Indies showed that even though their best player, Kohli, was not playing the bat, India’s white-ball players remained strong at the crease.

The five-match T20I series against West Indies will technically be played in three different countries (Trinidad and Tobago, St.Kints and Nevis and USA).

In all the T20 Internationals that Deepak Hooda has played so far, he has shown that he can do well in it. He scored a century against Ireland and looked in good form in the one-off T20I against England but was ruled out due to the return of Kohli. Hooda can get a chance in this series. At the same time, Rishabh Pant can once again start the innings with Rohit. He also opened in the series against England.

India’s probable team
Rohit Sharma (capt), Rishabh Pant (wk), Deepak Hooda, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Dinesh Karthik, Ravindra Jadeja, Harshal Patel, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Kuldeep Yadav, Arshdeep Singh.
