IND vs ENG, 3rd ODI Highlights: India won the third ODI against England on Sunday. India defeated England by 5 wickets in the match played at Old Trafford Stadium, Manchester. With this win, India took the three-match ODI series 2-1. India won the first match by 10 wickets and lost the second ODI by 100 runs.

The heroes of India’s victory in the third ODI were Rishabh Pant and Hardik Pandya. Both kept India’s upper hand in difficult conditions by sharing a 133-run partnership for the fifth wicket. After landing at number four, Pant scored an unbeaten 125 off 113 balls with 16 fours and two sixes. At the same time, Hardik scored 71 runs in 55 balls with the help of 10 fours.

Electing to bat after losing the toss, the start of the England team was not good. Fast bowler Mohammad Siraj gave two big blows to England in the second over. He made openers Jonny Bairstow (0) and Joe Root his prey. After this, second opener Jason Roy (41) shared a 54-run partnership with Ben Stokes (27) for the third wicket.

Roy was dismissed by Hardik Pandya in the 10th over. Hardik caught and bowled Stokes in the 14th over. Captain Jos Buttler (60) made an important partnership of 75 runs with Moeen Ali (34) for the fifth wicket. This partnership was broken by Ravindra Jadeja in the 28th over by sending Moeen to the pavilion.

Buttler added 49 runs for the sixth wicket with Liam Livingstone (27). Buttler and Livingstone’s innings ended in the 37th over by Hardik. David Willey (18) and Craig Overton (32) put on 48 runs for the eighth wicket. Willie was dismissed by Chahal in the 44th over.

At the same time, Chahal wrapped up England’s innings by hitting Overton on the third ball of the 46th over and Reece Topley (0) on the fifth ball. Hardik took 4 wickets for the Indian team. Chahal took 3 wickets while Siraj took 2 and Jadeja took one wicket.
