Youth Congress National President BV Srinivas has shared a video of senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Union Minister Smriti Irani taunting her over the rising prices of LPG cylinders. Social media users are also giving their reactions fiercely on his tweet.
BV Srinivas has tweeted a video of Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani from her official Twitter handle. In which she is sitting in a shop with pakodas and tea. Sharing his video, the Congress leader said that if she gets time from all these things, then she should also refresh the old memories of the cylinder.
Srinivas wrote in his tweet, “if you ever get free time from Golgappas, lassi, chaat, pakoda, tea, then bring back old memories about cylinders too….”
Social media users are also giving their reactions fiercely on this tweet of Srinivas. One user wrote, “Smriti Irani, ji, today inflation has spoiled two times bread of common people. The prices of petrol diesel gas cylinders are on fire. Please express grief to the people who are burning in the fire of inflation.”
Another user wrote, “What to say to a minister who is busy only in her world, has no sense of responsibility, nor a sense of accountability.” Another user wrote, “Golgappe pakodas do not fill the stomach of drinking, from where will she talk about gas, petrol & diesel!” Let us tell you that in the same way, all the users are giving their reactions on the tweet of the Congress leader.
The burden of inflation has increased on the common man, who is facing the ever-increasing inflation in the country. Amidst the skyrocketing prices of petrol and diesel, oil marketing companies had once again increased the prices of LPG cylinders, giving a big blow to the common man on the first day of September.
The price of subsidized 14.2 kg cylinder in Delhi has now gone up to Rs 884.50. Earlier, the cylinder in the capital was Rs 859.20. From July 1, the price of cylinder has increased by Rs 75.50. Its price was increased by Rs 25.50 in July and Rs 25 in August.
Let us tell you that before 2014, when the Congress was in power, the BJP had protested tremendously on the streets regarding the increase in the price of LPG. Smriti Irani was also involved in the sit-in with a cylinder on the road.
