‘If a Muslim becomes PM…’: Yet another hate speech by Yati Narsinghanand, Delhi Police books

Another controversial video of Mahant Yati Narsinghanand Saraswati of Dasna Devi Temple in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, adjacent to the national capital Delhi, has surfaced, which is becoming very viral on social media. Haridwar hate speech accused Yeti Narsinghanand gave a provocative speech at the Hindu Mahapanchayat in Delhi on Sunday, saying that if a Muslim becomes the Prime Minister, then within 20 years 50% of the Hindus will be converted.

Giving a controversial statement, Yati Narsinghanand said, “Only in 2029 or in 2034 or in 2039, a Muslim will become the prime minister. Once a Muslim becomes the prime minister, 50 per cent Hindus will convert, 40 per cent will be killed and the remaining 10 per cent will either live in refugee camps or in other countries in the next 20 years.”

Narsinghanand also advised the Hindus to take up arms to save their existence. In the video of the Mahapanchayat on social media, Narsinghanand is purportedly heard saying, this will be the future of Hindus. If you want to escape from this future, be a man and take up arms.

Delhi Police has registered a case against Yeti Narsinghanand and other speakers for making provocative statements in the ‘Hindu Mahapanchayat’ held in Delhi on Sunday. Delhi Police says that it did not give permission to the organizers for the event but a ‘Mahapanchayat Sabha’ took place and 700-800 people were present at the venue.

Police say that three FIRs have been registered in connection with the event and legal action will be taken for spreading rumors through various forums including social media. According to the police, investigation is going on in the matter and no one has been arrested so far.

According to media reports, this Mahapanchayat was organized by a person named Bhai Preet Singh, National President of Save India Foundation, on 5 demands like Uniform Education Act, Uniform Civil Code, Infiltration Control Act, Conversion Control Act, Devasthan Temple Liberation. No permission was taken from Delhi Police for this Mahapanchayat.
