When asked about the wedding preparations, the actor said, “No, nothing has been planned as of now.” Earlier in May, Athiya’s brother actor Ahan Shetty spoke about the marriage rumours. Talking to a website, he had said that “As far as marriage is concerned, no arrangements are being made. There is no such ceremony, these are all rumours. How can we give you a date when there is no marriage?”
Significantly, Athiya and Rahul made their relationship official last year when Rahul wished the actress Athiya on her birthday and posted a special picture of himself on social media. Along with Athiya, Rahul also shares a close bond with her family. Apart from this, both had come together to attend the premiere of the actress’ brother actor Ahan Shetty’s debut film Tadap. On the work front, actress Athiya Shetty was last seen in the film Motichoor Chaknachoor opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
