Kiran Bedi trolled badly for sharing a fake video: Once again Kiran Bedi became a victim of WhatsApp forward message and shared a video with wrong claims. Even before this, some of her tweets have been quite controversial, which have been found to be factually incorrect. Kiran Bedi posted a video on her Twitter account on Tuesday, in which a shark attacks a flying helicopter. Incorrect information was seen written in the text above this video.
On the video shared by India’s first woman IPS officer Kiran Bedi, it is written – ‘National Geographic Channel has paid 1 million dollars for this rare video. What a video.” Because of the video, Kiran Bedi is also being strongly criticized.
Actually this video is a scene from the film ‘5 Headed Shark Attack’ released in the year 2017, which someone made viral with wrong information. The claim made in this video about the National Geographic channel is also wrong. After the video, Kiran Bedi is being rediculed on social media. Commenting below this tweet of Kiran Bedi, users also reminded her two old tweets in which she shared wrong information.
After this video was posted by Kiran Bedi, WhatsApp University started trending on Twitter and users trolled Kiran Bedi fiercely.
This is not the first time that the retired IPS officer has been trolled for her Twitter post. Earlier, Kiran Bedi had posted another video on Twitter, in which it was claimed that the space agency NASA has recorded the sound of the Sun ‘Om’. Even after this video, Kiran Bedi was trolled fiercely by social media users.
In 2017, she posted a video of an old woman dancing with the caption, “Spirit of Deepavali at tender age of 97. She’s mother of @narendramodi (Hiraben Modi -1920) celebrating Diwali at her own home.” Ms Bedi corrected herself later.
After being trolled for sharing the incorrect information, she later reacted with a caution note to the visual.
In another tweet, she wrote, “The source of this daring Video is open and subject to verifications. Whatever be the authentic and true source it is terrifying But laudable, even if manufactured. Please view it against this caveat.”
