The glory of Nathuram Godse, the killer of Mahatma Gandhi, is being glorified once again in Madhya Pradesh. Gwalior Hindu Mahasabha has opened Godse’s Gyanashala in the district. In ‘Godse Gyanashala’, the youth will be taught the ideology of the killer Godse. The big thing is that the Shivraj government of Madhya Pradesh has not taken any action on any of its events.
Tales of Godse’s alleged patriotism will be taught
Cheers for Gandhi’s killer were also organized at Godse’s Gyanashala. Tales of Nathuram Godse’s alleged patriotism will be told to the people in the Gyanashala. You should know that Gandhi’s killer Nathuram Godse was associated with the Hindu Mahasabha. ‘Gahe-Bahega’ Hindu Mahasabha continues to glorify Godse’s name.
On Sunday, the Hindu Mahasabha also insulted the immortal martyrs and great men of the country in Gwalior. Godse was photographed with people like Maharana Pratap, Maharani Laxmi Bai, Guru Gobind Singh and Lala Lajpat Rai.
Long standing with disputes over Godse
Madhya Pradesh has a long association with disputes over Godse. The Hindu Mahasabha celebrates Godse’s birthday every year in Gwalior. Two years ago, Sadhvi Pragya, MP from Bhopal, has come into controversy by calling Godse a patriot. However, she later had to apologize in Parliament for the statement on Godse.
On 30 January, Godse shot Gandhi
Let us tell you that Nathuram Godse shot Mahatma Gandhi at Birla House (now Gandhi Smriti) in Delhi on the evening of January 30, 1948. At that time, Gandhiji was going for evening prayers, Godse fired three bullets on him, which led to Gandhi’s death. After this, on November 15, 1949, Godse was hanged in the Ambala jail.
