Heroin worth Rs 400 crore: The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) and the Gujarat Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) in a joint operation have seized 77 kg of heroin worth around Rs 400 crore from a Pakistani fishing boat off the Gujarat coast.
The Defense PRO of Gujarat said in a tweet that Coast Guard along with state ATS caught Pakistani fishing boat Al Hussaini with six crew members in Indian waters.

Indian Coast Guard (ICG) in a joint operation with ATS Gujarat has apprehended a Pakistani fishing boat Al Hussaini with 06 crew carrying 77 kg of heroin, worth around 400 crores. The boat has been brought to Jakhau for further investigation.
In a similar joint operation in April, a boat was intercepted off Indian waters off Jakhau coast in Kutch, carrying eight Pakistani nationals carrying 30 kg of heroin worth around Rs 150 crore.
Let us tell you that the Gujarat ATS had also seized a consignment of heroin drug worth about Rs 600 crore from Morbi district. The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) had earlier seized around 3,000 kg of drugs from two containers at Mundra port in Kutch, believed to be from Afghanistan and worth Rs 21,000 crore in the global market.
