Supporting Nupur Sharma, the former cricketer wrote, “Silence of so called ‘secular liberals’ on the sickening display of hatred & death threats throughout the country against a woman who has apologised is surely DEAFENING! #LetsTolerateIntolerance.” After seeing Gambhir’s tweet, the actress Swara Bhasker got furious. She has slammed the BJP MP expressing her anger on social media.

Sharing a screenshot of Gautam Gambhir’s tweet on her Instagram story, the actress wrote, “inko bulldozer ki awaaz sunai nahi pad rahi lekin(he can’t hear the bulldozer’s voice however)”. However, no reply has been received from Gautam Gambhir on this tweet of Swara.
