‘Gwalior took revenge from traitor’: Congress leaders take a dig at Jyotiraditya Scindia after BJP lost its stronghold

The results of 11 municipalities in Madhya Pradesh were declared on Sunday. These results definitely gave a big blow to the BJP. Both BJP and Congress had put full emphasis in this election of the civic body. In the results that came out, BJP captured 7 municipal corporations including Bhopal, Ujjain, Indore, but even after that the celebration faded away. At the same time, Congress won two such seats, after which it got an opportunity to attack BJP and especially Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia.

Gwalior is the home region of two union ministers- Narendra Singh Tomar and Jyotiraditya Scindia. Even though there was an election for the municipal body, but its results were even eyeing Delhi. This was the reason that as soon as the Congress captured these two seats in Gwalior and Jabalpur, Jyotiraditya Scindia came under the target of Congress leaders.

Gwalior is considered to be the stronghold of Jyotiraditya Scindia and he also campaigned here. After BJP’s defeat in this seat, Indian Youth Congress National President BV Srinivas targeted Scindia by sharing an old video. In which Jyotiraditya Scindia is saying “I want to tell Kamal Nath ji and Digvijay Singh that Tiger is still alive”.

At the same time, taking a dig at Scindia, UP Congress has tweeted, “Gwalior today took revenge from the traitor.”

Congress’ communications in-charge Jairam Ramesh said “nothing has pleased me more than the Congress’ victory in Gwalior”.

BV Srinivas, the national president of the Indian Youth Congress, made several tweets one after the other after the victory of the Congress in these two seats. His target was Jyotiraditya Scindia. After 57 years in BJP’s stronghold Gwalior, after 23 years in BJP’s stronghold Jabalpur, the people have elected the mayor of Congress party.
