Dobaaraa, directed by Anurag Kashyap, will see the pairing of Taapsee Pannu and Pavail Gulati, which is all set to release. The thriller film officially made a grand debut at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne. The film was screened at the Australian Premiere and Opening Night in the presence of Anurag Kashyap, Taapsee Panni, Tamannaah Bhatia and Rithvik Dhanjani. On this occasion, the audience gave a good response to the film.
After the screening of this film, Taapsee Pannu while talking to the media said, “I am excited that this film has been released in Australia just a week before its release in India. I hope a large number of people will watch and like this film. It is a new genre film. The concept of this film is based on time travel and parallel universe. This type of film is being used for the first time in the cinema world.”
Taapsee Pannu’s film ‘Dobaaraa’ is releasing in theaters on August 19. Earlier, Taapsee was seen in Anurag Kashyap’s directorial ‘Manmarziyaan’ and ‘Saand Ki Aankh’. At the same time, now ‘Dobaaraa’ will be the third project of Taapsee Pannu and Anurag Kashyap together. The film is jointly produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Cult Movies Balaji Telefilms and Sunir Khetarpal, Gaurav Bose’s banner Athena.
Talking about Taapsee Pannu’s career, the actress started her film journey from South. Before Hindi, she has worked in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam films in all three languages. The actress has appeared in scintillating films like ‘Thappad’, ‘Saand Ki Aankh’, ‘Badla’, ‘Haseen Dilruba’, ‘Naam Shabana’ in Hindi cinema.
