Famous British boxer Kell Brook tweets to support protesting Indian farmers

Opposition to the new agricultural laws is being vigorously opposed not only in India but also abroad. Everyone from the common man to the players vehemently are opposing these laws.

Now British boxer Kell Brook has expressed his protest on social media against the police brutality on farmers. He shared a picture of Delhi Police beating a farmer on his Twitter handle and wrote ‘Stop This Now’ with a hashtag ‘Justice for the Farmer’.

So far 2800 people have commented on his tweet and more than 15 thousand people have retweeted and more than 30 thousand people have liked.

It may be recalled that the farmers, who have been sitting on the borders of Delhi for more than two months, have been protesting against the agricultural laws introduced by the government. People from home and abroad are contributing to this protest.

After the January 26 incident, where the end of the farmers movement was being considered, the peasant leader Rakesh Tikait revived the peasant movement and all the farmer unions again came out in his favor.
