Twitter CEO Parag Agarwal shared a note via tweet on Monday, saying that Musk has decided not to join Twitter’s board. Parag Agarwal wrote in a tweet, “Elon has decided not to join our board, I have sent a short note to the company, sharing with you all too.”
Twitter CEO Parag Agarwal said in his tweet that Musk has refused to join Twitter’s board, although it is not yet clear why Elon Musk has refused to join Twitter’s board. Parag Agarwal said that we always value the suggestions of our shareholders and whether they are on our board or not. Elon is our largest shareholder and we will be open to his suggestions.

Parag Agarwal said in his tweet, “The appointment of Elon Musk to the board was to be officially effective from Saturday 9 April 2022, but Elon said the same morning that he would no longer be on the board. We also believed that Elon was placed as a subsidiary of the Company, where he, like all board members, was to act in the best interest of the Company and all of our shareholders.”
Last week, Elon Musk bought a 9.2 percent stake in Twitter. Musk’s stake is worth about $ 2.8 billion (about Rs 21,085 crore), now he is the largest shareholder of the Twitter company.
