Ekta Kapoor lashed out at KRK for calling ‘Ek Villain Returns’ a copy of Korean film

The trailer of Arjun Kapoor and Disha Patani starrer film ‘Ek Villain Returns’ was released some time back. Which was very much liked by the audience. Arjun Kapoor and John Abraham’s tremendous action avatar has been seen in the trailer. At the same time, the glamorous looks of Tara and Disha are making the fans crazy about them.

The film was accused of plagiarism by critics and actor KRK. After the release of the trailer, KRK called ‘Ek Villain Returns’ a copy of Korean films. After which Ekta Kapoor lashed out at KRK.

Regarding the story of theft, Ekta has said that like KRK knows more about films. In fact, when Ekta Kapoor was questioned in a conference on the allegation of the film’s theft story, she said that Mohit Suri had told me two scripts of this film. He had worked on it, so I said that this time the villain franchise should be bigger. Rohit Shetty also liked the script of the film.

Ekta Kapoor told that she also wanted to be involved in this film, so she went to Rohit Shetty and requested him for the script. Actually, Ekta Kapoor treats Rohit Shetty like a brother and Rohit also continues to fulfill the duty of brother for unity. When Ekta Kapoor asked Rohit for the script of Ek Villain Returns, Rohit immediately handed over the copy to her and said that it is yours. Rohit Shetty further said that this is a script that has not been made in any language before and no one will say no to this story.

Taking a jibe at KRK, Ekta Kapoor said, “I don’t know what Mr KRK is watching in Korean, but he seems to know more than I know. Let us tell you that Ek Villain Returns is going to be released in theaters this Friday i.e. on 29th July.
