‘Earlier they used to spy in Gujarat, now they are doing same at center’: Shiv Sena MP Priyanka Chaturvedi

The ruling Modi government at the Center is under the attack of opposition parties in the Pegasus spying case.

Along with the rising inflation, the government is also being surrounded by the opposition parties for the snooping scandal in the Parliament during the monsoon session.

Shiv Sena MP Priyanka Chaturvedi has attacked the Modi government. She said that the history of snooping of the ruling government at the Center is very old. It all started from Gujarat. Now it has reached the center.

She said “recording phone calls of opposition leaders. It raises a big question that till date there is no data protection law in this country. There is no talk of surveillance in data protection law. All these issues are very serious. I believe that this should be discussed in the right way. Instead of removing it, the central government should take action to understand its shortcomings.”

Earlier, Shiv Sena has also demanded a probe into the entire matter. Shiv Sena says that if there was a Congress government at the center during this period, the Bharatiya Janata Party would have created a ruckus in the whole country. This should be probed by JPC. However, the Bharatiya Janata Party has called these allegations baseless.

Let us tell you, the name of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is also included among the leaders of India whose phones have been snooped.

Let us tell you that the French government has taken a big decision in the Pegasus snooping case. France has issued orders to conduct an inquiry in this regard.
