Meanwhile, Rajya Sabha member of Samajwadi Party Jaya Bachchan ripped into the BJP-led central government over the surge in fuel prices .She even raised questions on the victory of BJP in the recently held elections. During a conversation with ANI, she said that the prices of petrol and diesel have been increased as soon as the elections are over.

Jaya said that this is how this government (BJP government) does it. Akhilesh Yadav had repeatedly said in his campaign that these prices are going to increase after the elections. People should be careful. After this Jaya said, “I don’t know who brought them(BJP) to power by voting? The public would not have brought them.”

However, this is not the first time that Jaya Bachchan’s anger has erupted on the BJP. During the election campaign in UP, while addressing the gathering in Madiyahun and Machhlishahr, she had said that Yogi and Modi should go to their hut.

Jaya Bachchan also said that atrocities on women have increased since the BJP government was formed. BJP is only working to change the names of cities and railway stations. They don’t care about politics and people’s welfare.
