Diljit Dosanjh slams Kangana Ranaut over her ‘Khalistani’ remark, says ‘Punjabis have given their lives for country’

Actress Kangana Ranaut is often in the news due to her controversial statements. She once again has raised question on singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh which has increased the tension between the two. Earlier, due to the farmer movement, Kangana has had several controversies with singer Diljit Dosanjh on social media. Now once again, Diljit Dosanjh has given a befitting reply to Kangana’s statement.

Kangana and Diljit have been on a war of words on Twitter for almost two months now. Diljit reacted to Kangana’s comments about him on Twitter on Monday. Diljit said – how she asked him to say that he is not ‘Khalistani’. Diljit called it all ‘drama’.

Dosanjh said that she sits on TV and calls herself a patriot. They talk like the whole country. The Punjabis have given their lives for the country whenever needed. God forbid if there is any need for it today, we will do it too. In the tweet Dosanjh further wrote in Punjabi – these Punjabis have pierced your side?

Diljit Dosanjh’s response to Kangana

Two twins said that you ask me this, I answer you. ‘ What is this drama They talk about the country, about Punjab. They want to push the debate to another angle and project us to be as whatever you want. Wow.’

In a recent interview with Arnab Goswami of Republic TV, Kangana said, “I openly challenged him to say just once that he is not a Khalistani, he didn’t say it. Youth have been misled, they have been presented with a dream about Khalistan.”

On which Dosanjh calling Arnab and Kangana, ‘Mastar and Mastani (Teachers)’, he wrote in a tweet, “these so-called ‘teachers’ are the ones adding petrol to the fire. I know it is wrong to reply to rubbish. But she has crossed her limits and silence is not the answer to everything. Tomorrow,  they will call us anything.”
