The makers will surely be happy with the response that Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer film Brahmastra has received from the audience. Since the advance booking figures of the film, it was believed that it is going to earn a bang. Even though Brahmastra was not released on any holiday, the craze of the film itself is that on the first day the audience flocked to the theaters. The response received by the film can be gauged that it has surpassed the opening day collections of many films released before the pandemic.
Despite the boycott calls, Ayan Mukerji’s dream project Brahmastra registered the highest non-holiday opening of all time in Bollywood surpassing Aamir Khan’s Dhoom 3 (36.22 crores). It has also emerged as the biggest opening Bollywood film of the year and post-pandemic period leaving Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 (14.11 crores) and Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi (26.29 crores) behind by a huge margin.

Brahmastra has got a very good response in multiplexes as well as single theaters. According to the report of Bollywood Hungama, it is being estimated from the initial trends that the film has collected from 36.50 crores to 38.50 crores. Official figures will come on Saturday.
Brahmastra surpassed Sanju, Tiger Zinda Hai and Dhoom 3 in the opening day collection. After Panademic, Sooryavanshi, which was released in Diwali 2021, earned 37 crores on the first day. On the other hand, talking about this year, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was the highest opening film till date, which collected 14.11 crores on the first day. In this way, Karan Johar produced film has gone far ahead of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. As bang as the opening of Brahmastra has been, it is estimated that it will join the club of 100 crores in 3 days.
It has to be seen how much Ranbir-Alia starrer can collect on Monday. If the film remains strong even in the weekdays, then the next week will be good for the film. After Brahmastra, the big film that will hit the theaters is Vikram Vedha. It will release on 30 September.
