The Covid-19 virus has also knocked in yoga guru Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali Yogpeeth in Haridwar. In many media reports, it is being reported that 83 people have been found covid positive in 3 different institutions of Patanjali Yoga Peeth. After which all the infected have been isolated. However, Baba Ramdev’s spokesperson has denied this. He has tweeted that such reports as false.
According to the report of Zee Media, CMO Dr. SK Jha told that 83 people have come positive in Patanjali Yogpeeth from 10th to 30th. In which 46 covid-infected from Patanjali Yoga Peeth, 28 from Yoga Gram and 9 from Acharyakulam have been found. He told that even before this, 1-2 cases have come. The Health Department is doing contact tracing of covid infections. All those who came positive in the test are being isolated.

The CMO further informed that the Health Department team can also take covid-19 test of Swami Ramdev if required.
At the same time, Patanjali’s spokesperson SK Tijarawala has denied this by tweeting. Tijarawala claimed through his Twitter handle that reports of Baba Ramdev’s ongoing Covid-19 test in institutions running in the media are untrue.
He wrote in his tweet, “Taking cognizance of misleading / baseless rumors in the media, we warn that no one should run false news.” IPD Indoor has already the necessary covid testing center for covid patients.
