Congratulations to Devendra ‘Fernandes’ on becoming first ‘Agniveer’ of country: RJD takes a dig at new Maha Dy CM

The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has taken a jibe at the power shift in Maharashtra. RJD has tweeted from its official handle that Devendra Fadnavis, who became the Deputy CM of Maharashtra, has been described as the country’s first Agniveer.

Several tweets were made from the official Twitter handle of Rashtriya Janata Dal regarding the political developments in Maharashtra on Thursday night. In a tweet, RJD wrote, “Hearty congratulations to Devendra Fernandes on becoming the first Agniveer of the country.”

This tweet of RJD became tremendously viral. Till the time of writing this news, more than 19 thousand likes and more than 3 thousand retweets have come on it.

Eknath Shinde on Thursday evening took oath as the new CM of Maharashtra with BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis as the Deputy CM. AAP leader Sanjay Singh also took a dig at Devendra Fadnavis taking the Maharashtra Deputy CM post instead of the CM. The AAP leader likened the situation to a ‘bridegroom being replaced at the last moment.’

“Ghodi saji thi. Dulha taiyar tha. Baraati naach rahe the. Ek ‘Nath’ peeche se dhakka diya. Ghodi parbaith gaye Dulha replaced. The horse was ready, the bridegroom was ready. People were dancing. One ‘Nath’ came from behind, puched the bridegroom and took his place (roughly translated),” Sanjay Singh tweeted.

Let us inform that Eknath Shinde, who broke Shiv Sena, took oath as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra on Thursday. Along with him, BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis also took oath as the Deputy CM. However, shortly before this, Fadnavis had said that BJP would support Shinde from outside and he would not join the government. But after the order of the BJP high command, he had to become the Deputy CM.
