Complaint Registered Against BJP MP Gautam Gambhir For Holding ‘Fabiflu’ medicine Amid Covid-19 Crisis

A complaint has been filed against BJP MP from East Delhi and former Cricketer Gautam Gambhir. In the complaint filed by activist Leher Sethi, it has been said, ‘Fabiflu’ medicine is being hoarded at a time when the people of Delhi are wandering around for this. ‘ Actually, this matter comes after Gautam Gambhir’s tweet in which he said, ‘People of East Delhi can take ‘Fabiflu’ medicine from my office 2 Jagriti Enclave for free between 10 am to 5 pm. Whoever needs this medicine will have to bring their Aadhaar card and doctor’s prescription along with it.

The activist also said that this action of Gautam Gambhir is ‘a matter of grave concern’ as this drug is available throughout the day in the pharmacy and chemists, while he is providing this medicine only to people from 10 am to 5 pm. . Actually, Fabiflu is an anti-viral drug approved by DGCI for the treatment of Covid-19 in India.

The healthcare infrastructure across the country is struggling to meet the needs of patients, amid the deadly wave of the Corona epidemic and the rapidly growing new cases. Due to the acute shortage of oxygen cylinders, lack of beds in hospitals, medicines for the treatment of infections are becoming extremely difficult.

It is worth noting that on Thursday, more than 3.14 lakh cases of Covid-19 virus infection were reported in India. With this, the number of Kovid-19 infected has increased to 1,59,30,965. According to the data of the Union Health Ministry, 3,14,835 cases of infection have been reported in the last 24 hours, while 2104 more patients have died, so far the number of people lost due to this epidemic has increased to 1,84,657.
