Let us tell you that on July 18, GST has been imposed on everyday things across the country. This decision was taken in the 47th meeting of the GST Council held in Chandigarh. Now 5 per cent GST has been imposed on packed curd, lassi, buttermilk, paneer, flour and rice. Although no GST has been levied on dairy products that are sold freely, these new rates are currently applicable only on packed products.
