Former TMC MLA Sonali Guha, who joined the BJP after quitting Trinamool Congress before the assembly elections in West Bengal, wrote a letter to Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee apologizing for leaving the party and urging her to take her back in TMC. Guha has also shared this letter on social media. Guha said that she had left the party after being emotional.
Sonali Guha pleads to rejoin TMC
She said, “I am writing this with a broken heart that I took the wrong decision of joining another party after being emotional. I could not get accustomed there”. She said, “Just as the fish cannot live outside the water, in the same way I cannot live without you ‘Didi’.” “I seek your forgiveness and if you do not forgive me, I will not be able to live.”

Sonali Guha has further said “Please allow me to come back and spend the rest of my life in your affection”. Guha has been an MLA four times and was once regarded as the ‘shadow’ of the Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. This time she did not get a ticket from Trinamool Congress, after which she joined BJP.
