India’s badminton star PV Sindhu has rocked in the Singapore Open. Two-time Olympic medalist PV Sindhu has made it to the final. She defeated unseeded Saena Kawakami of Japan in straight sets in the semi-finals.

In the title match, PV Sindhu will face direct competition from Japan’s Aya Ohori or China’s Ji Yi Wang. Japan’s Aya Ohori defeated Indian star Saina Nehwal in the quarterfinals. Saina Nehwal was defeated by Aya Ohori of Japan 21-13, 15-21, 22-20. Ohori will now have to defeat Ji Yi Wang to take on Sindhu in the title match.
PV Sindhu entered the semi-finals of the Singapore Open Super 500 tournament by defeating Han Yui of China in a match that lasted more than an hour. The world number seven had won 17-21, 21-11, 21-19 after losing one game. The more difficult the quarterfinal match was for Sindhu, the easier the semi-final was. She defeated Kawakami in just 30 minutes.
