Bulli Bai App: Mastermind Niraj Bishnoi suspended from college for ‘defaming name of institute’

Niraj Bishnoi suspended from college: The wires of the well-known Bulli Bai app have also been connected to Madhya Pradesh. After the arrest of the fourth accused in the case, it came to light that this student, a native of Rajasthan, is pursuing B.Tech from the campus of Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) in Madhya Pradesh. He is being told as the master mind of Bulli Bai app. After the arrest of the accused, the Madhya Pradesh Police has become active.

The name of this accused caught by Delhi Police from Jorhat in Assam is Neeraj Bishnoi. He is 21 years old. He was admitted to the Computer Science branch of VIT in Sehore, Madhya Pradesh two years ago.

Niraj Bishnoi suspended from college

Neeraj was not coming to college due to Corona. He was studying online. As soon as the matter came to light, the college management swung into action and issued the suspension order of Neeraj on Thursday evening.

Vellore Institute of Technology issued a statement saying, “Mr Niraj Bishnoi, 20BCG10103 studying BTech since September 2020 via Online has been arrested by Delhi Police in connection with his alleged involvement in Bulli Bai App. Accordingly, Mr Niraj Bishnoi is suspended with immediate effect from the university until further notice, in view of bringing disrepute to the University and defaming the name of the Institute.”

After the matter of ‘Bulli Bai’ app came to light, Madhya Pradesh government spokesperson and state Home Minister Narottam Mishra had said, ‘”o complaint has been received, if any kind of complaint comes, then the government will definitely consider action against the app.”

Narottam Mishra had also said, “Insult to women of any religion, caste or community is a completely unfair and condemnable act.”

Let us tell you, Maharashtra Police has disclosed this app in the past on the complaint of some influential women who were victims of the app.

It is alleged that photos of many women of the Muslim community were being auctioned by uploading their photos on this app. The makers of the app had obtained the photos of these women from social media platforms without their knowledge.
