TMC MP Mahua has reacted to the uproar over her statement on the poster of Maa Kaali. She said that she worships Kaali, is not afraid of BJP trolls, it’s goons and police. There has been a ruckus on the poster in places including Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Bengal.
TMC has distanced itself from Mahua Moitra’s statement regarding this, after which Mahua Moitra has unfollowed TMC on Twitter.

Hitting back at BJP, “Bring it on BJP! Am a Kali worshipper. I am not afraid of anything. Not your ignoramuses. Not your goons. Not your police. And most certainly not your trolls. Truth doesn’t need back up forces.”
In another tweet, Moitra has written, “Jai Ma Kali! The goddess Bengalis worship is fearless & non-appeasing.”
Earlier, Moitra tweeted, “To all you sanghis- lying will NOT make you better hindus.
I NEVER backed any film or poster or mentioned the word smoking. Suggest you visit my Maa Kali in Tarapith to see what food & drink is offered as bhog. Joy Ma Tara.”
On the other hand, Trinamool Congress (TMC) has distanced itself from Mahua Moitra’s statement. Angered by this, Mahua has unfollowed Moitra to TMC.
