Boyfriend sets Dalit girlfriend on fire: A shocking news has come out from Bengaluru, Karnataka. Here a man allegedly burnt his Dalit girlfriend alive and then fled after admitting her to the hospital. The victim died during treatment at the hospital.

According to the report of news agency IANS, the police said on Friday that the victim died on March 15. A case has been registered against the accused lover under Section 302 of the Criminal Code. The deceased has been identified as 23-year-old Daneshwari.

The victim’s sister Tejaswini has filed a case against her lover Shivkumar Chandrashekhar Hirehala. Police said that the accused and the victim studied engineering in the same college in Vijaypur district and the relationship between the two started from there.

After completing their studies, both came to Bangalore and continued their relationship. The victim’s sister told that the accused had promised marriage to Daneshwari.

When Daneshwari asked for marriage, the man talked about getting consent from his parents and went back to Vijaypur. After returning from there, he refused to marry Daneshwari and said that she belonged to lower caste. After this, the accused broke his ties with Daneshwari.

After this, Daneswari went to the accused’s office and urged her to marry her but her lover abused her and made casteist remarks on her.

According to the complaint, the accused again called Daneshwari to a secluded place one day and set her on fire by pouring petrol on her. The accused later escaped from there after admitting Daneshwari to the hospital.
