‘Both are saleable’: Bhupesh Baghel takes a dig at Jyotiraditya Scindia, calls him ‘bikau’

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has taken a jibe at Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia. CM Bhupesh Baghel on Wednesday called Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia as ‘bikau'(salable).

According to the news agency ANI, CM Bhupesh Baghel said that Jyotiraditya Scindia is sold, saying that the BJP government is going to sell Air India and the command of that ministry has been given in the hands of Jyotiraditya Scindia. He further said, the logo of Air India is ‘Maharaja’. Both (Jyotiraditya Scindia and Air India) are salable. A ‘salable’ man has been given the responsibility of selling the Air India. One is about to be auctioned and the other has been given the charge of selling it.

Earlier, Congress’ youth wing chief Srinivas B V took a jibe at BJP leader Jyotiraditya Scindia on being appointed as the civil aviation minister with a meme showing Air India mascot telling Scindia ‘we are both for sale’.

Srinivas shared the meme which showed Air India Mascot ‘Maharaja’ telling Scindia, ‘Aiyye Maharaj, hum dono bikau hain (Come Maharaja, we are both for sale)’, and added the caption, ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi..’.

Significantly, recently the Modi cabinet has been expanded. This was the first cabinet expansion of the second term of the Modi government. In this, BJP’s Rajya Sabha MP from Madhya Pradesh, Jyotiraditya Scindia has been given the important responsibility of the Ministry of Civil Aviation by making him a minister for the first time.

After giving the charge of the Civil Aviation Ministry to Jyotiraditya Scindia in the Modi cabinet, he is being constantly targeted by the opposition parties.
