The Indian Medical Association (IMA) has demanded Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan to take action under the Pandemic Act on Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev. IMA demands action against Ramdev

On this statement of Yoga Guru Ramdev, the association has demanded the Health Minister to either disobey the modern medical system of the country by accepting the allegations of Baba Ramdev in a viral video on social media or a case under the Pandemic Act on Yoga Guru should be filed and prosecuted. In its statement, the IMA also said that if action is not taken against Ramdev by the government, the association will take legal action itself.

According to the news of the Free Press Journal, in the video which is going viral on social media, Baba Ramdev has said, “Modern allopathy is such a stupid and bankrupt science, millions of people have died by eating allopath medicine.” The IMA is very upset about his statement. In its statement, the association said that Baba Ramdev, besides being a guru of yoga at the international level, is also a veteran of a pharmaceutical manufacturer.
