Body of missing minor girl found in car inside Asaram Bapu’s ashram in UP

The body of a minor girl was found in a car parked in the Sant Asaram Bapu Ashram premises in Vimaur village on the Gonda-Bahraich road. The girl had gone missing from the house on the late evening of April 5. In this case, the relative had filed a kidnapping case against three people.

In this case, ASP Shivraj Prajapati told that a 13-year-old girl of village panchayat Bimaur was missing from her house since last Tuesday. The family members searched for her, but when nothing could be found, they filed a report in the police station on Thursday in this matter.

The police swung into action after the minor’s family members lodged a complaint. After this, a search operation was being conducted by the police with the help of relatives. Meanwhile, police reached the spot after receiving information about the body being recovered from a car parked in the ashram premises on Bahraich Road. This car was parked in the ashram premises for several days. Police reached the spot, took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem. The police are interrogating some people of the ashram in this case by taking them into custody. At the same time, the police is also collecting information about the car parked in the ashram premises.

The 13-year-old girl was missing from her house since April 5, her family members searched for the girl but no information could be found about her. According to the information, foul smell was coming from the car parked in Asaram’s ashram premises, after which an employee opened the vehicle and saw the body of a minor in it.

The police have sealed the entire ashram and started investigation. No one is allowed inside the ashram. Police said that in the initial investigation, it seems to be a case of murder and hiding the dead body.
