BJP suspends spokesperson Nupur Sharma and Naveen Jindal from the party for making derrogatory remarks against Prophet Muhammad

The Bharatiya Janata Party took a big decision on Sunday. The BJP has suspended its spokesperson Nupur Sharma and Naveen Jindal from the primary membership of the party. As you know that BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma has been embroiled in controversies for some time now. The controversy over her alleged remarks against Prophet Mohammad got so drawn that eventually, the BJP withdrew the primary membership of her party. The Central Disciplinary Committee of the BJP has suspended Nupur Sharma from the party with immediate effect, citing her views as contrary to the party’s position on various matters.

The party also expelled Delhi Media chief Naveen Kumar Jindal from the party saying his views on social media disturb communal harmony and violate its fundamental beliefs. A letter from Delhi President Adesh Gupta said that their primary membership is immediately terminated and they are expelled from the party.

Let’s tell you that while trying to quell the disputes, the BJP on Sunday said that the party respects all religions and strongly condemns insult to any religious person.

BJP General Secretary Arun Singh clarified in a statement.

BJP general secretary Arun Singh said in a statement that the party is against any ideology that insults or insults any sect or religion. He said that BJP does not encourage such people. However, the BJP leader did not make any direct mention of any incident or remark in his statement.

BJP strongly condemns the insult of any religious person of any religion. He said that the Constitution of India gives every citizen the right to practice any religion of their choice and respect every religion. Let us tell you that Nupur Sharma’s remarks have been opposed by opposition parties and Muslim groups.
