BJP MP Subramanian Swamy releases ‘Report Card of Modi Government’, takes a jibe at PM

Senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Rajya Sabha member Subramanian Swamy, who is often in the news for his comments, released the ‘report card’ of the Modi government on Twitter on Thursday. Along with this, he has also mentioned five failures of the central government.

The BJP MP said in his tweet, “Modi Government’s Report Card: Economy – Fail, Border Security – Fail, Foreign Policy – Afghanistan Fiasco, National Security – Pegasus NSO, Internal Security – Kashmir Gloom.” Taking a jibe at the government’s failures, he asked, “Who is responsible for all this? – Subramanian Swamy.”

Let us tell you that BJP’s Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy has been constantly critical of the Modi government regarding economic policies. Despite his party’s government, he has been continuously speaking and writing on it. He has repeatedly said from different forums that the economic policies that the current government is taking in the country can lead to the situation getting worse instead of better.

Let us tell you that Subramanian Swamy met West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in Delhi on Wednesday. There is also speculation about him joining the Trinamool Congress (TMC) after meeting Mamata Banerjee. Meanwhile, Swamy has also heaped praises on Mamata Banerjee after meeting her.

After meeting Mamata Banerjee, Subramanian Swamy wrote in his tweet, “Mamata Banerjee is like JP, Morarji Desai, Rajiv Gandhi, Chandrashekhar and PV Narasimha Rao among all the politicians I have met or worked with. There is no difference between the words and deeds of these people. This is a rare quality in Indian politics.”
