BJP MP and actor Ravi Kishan has allegedly been duped of Rs 3.25 crore, police have informed about this incident. MP from Gorakhpur Sadar and film actor Kishan has registered a case of cheating Rs 3.25 crore against a builder at Gorakhpur Cantonment police station.
Police have said that a complaint has been registered and appropriate action will be taken after investigation. A case has been registered under section 406 of the Indian Penal Code. The actor’s public relations officer said the actor-cum-politician was allegedly duped by a Mumbai-based businessman.

The MP had given money to accused Jain Jitendra Ramesh in 2012. However, when Ravi Kishan asked for his money back, the builder gave him 12 checks worth Rs 34 lakh, some of which later bounced. After failing to persuade Ramesh to return the amount, Kishan lodged a police complaint.
