After the matter caught fire, she has also issued a statement on social media and apologized. In her statement on social media, she has expressed regret, calling it a momentary lapse during fluent communication.

After this remark, Navika Kumar has come under the target of Congress. Congress general secretary Randeep Singh Surjewala called it the worst level of journalism. At the same time, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has also asked the media not to forget the dignity.
