Attacking the Modi government, Rahul Gandhi has shared a photo on his Instagram and has given the caption -‘chor ki daadhi (beard of thief)’. In this Instagram post, Rahul Gandhi has edited and shared a picture of PM Modi with Rafale aircraft. Earlier on Twitter, Rahul Gandhi had only written the caption – ‘chor ki daadhi (beard of thief)’.

Here, regarding the Rafale aircraft deal, the Congress said on Saturday that it is clear from the latest revelations of corruption in the deal of 36 Rafale aircraft with India in France that there has been a big corruption in it. The Congress further said that the Modi government should get a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) probe into the irregularities in this deal without delay.

Congress communication department chief Randeep Singh Surjewala said at a press conference here on Saturday that his party has been repeatedly saying with evidence that there was widespread corruption in the Rafale deal but the government did not pay heed to it. There have been new revelations about the corruption in this deal in France and the whole episode is being investigated, so the Indian government should also get the matter investigated by JPC.

He said that the French investigative agency PFN has started a probe into the irregularities in the Rafale deal. The French government has seen corruption in it, so it has started a judicial inquiry into the matter, so the Indian government should also not hesitate to get an investigation done by JPC.
