“Attacking someone over religion is most pathetic”: Virat Kohli slams people trolling Mohammed Shami

Captain Virat Kohli held a press conference before the match against New Zealand in the T20 World Cup. After the defeat against Pakistan, Virat Kohli was seen furious here on the issue of online trolling of Mohammed Shami. Captain Virat Kohli said that our focus is not on the outside drama, we are completely focusing on the match. Virat said that it is completely wrong to target anyone on the basis of religion.

Virat Kohli bluntly said, “To me attacking someone over their religion is the most pathetic thing a human being can do. Everyone has the right to voice their opinion but I personally have never even thought of discriminating someone over their religion. They have no understanding of the fact that Mohammed Shami has won India n number of matches…If people can overlook that and his passion for the country, I honestly don’t want to waste even 1 min of my life on them. We stand by him 200%. Our brotherhood cannot be shaken.”
