An Indian Army jawan caught in a honeytrap of a Pakistani woman agent has been arrested from C Kar district of Rajasthan. He is accused of sharing military intelligence with a Pakistani woman agent. Security agencies are questioning the jawan.
Akash Maharia is a resident of Yalsar village
According to the report of Dainik Bhaskar, SP Shantanu Singh said that 22-year-old Akash Maharia, a resident of village Yalsar of Laxmangarh subdivision of the district, was admitted to the Indian Army in September 2018. His training was completed in January 2019.
FB friend request
In July, Akash received a friend request from Pakistan Women’s Agents on Facebook, which Akash accepted and the conversation between the two began. She used to trick him into meeting her. She used to talk about sex related things in nude during the video calls in Whatsapp. In return, she used to collect information about his battalion and army.
Came on 17 February with leave
Pakistani female agent and Army jawan Akash continued to have conversations through video calling and chat. Nobody had news. Meanwhile, Akash came to the village on 17 February with a month’s leave. During the holiday, Akash came on radar of the intelligence agencies when he received a call from Pakistan.
Caught from Shivaratri Mela
Akash came to a packed Mela on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri at Fatehpur in Sikar district. Police detained him here. Chats with Pakistani woman agent has been found on his mobile. His mobile has been seized. He was then produced in the court.
Bank account being investigated
It is being claimed in media reports that the accused jawan Akash has admitted in the interrogation of the police and security agencies that he has given some information related to the army to the Pakistan women’s agent. Security agencies are also investigating Akash’s bank account.
